BLACK ELEGANCE

Colors are brighter when the mind is open.

Adriana Alarcon

The color Black has been given a negative connotation throughout past decades.  While widows were expected to wear Black the rest of their lives, brides today can choose Black for their wedding gowns.  With a doom and gloom historical past, the color for mourning and funerals, Black is also conservative, serious as well as mysterious, sexy, and sophisticated.

If you choose Black as your favorite color you are often artistic and sensitive. While you aren't considered an introvert, you are careful with the details of your life, you prefer to wait until you are comfortable to share your feelings with others.  This is a great trait to have when planning your wedding.  You may not do your wedding entirely in Black, you may accessorize with the color.

Although Black represents emptiness and void, with your wedding you will erase the emptiness with fullness of love and fill the void with peace and blessings.

ALL ABOUT ME

Just don't give up trying to do what you really want to do.

Where there is love and inspiration,

I don't think you can go wrong.
Ella Fitzgerald

Once upon a time a young girl had many dreams.  She dreamed of becoming successful and traveling the world, photographing all that she saw.  Somehow, she strayed from her path to happiness.  She joined the Air Force to travel the Big Blue Marble, but go swept away by a attractive smooth talker, got married  and had a son and a daughter.  They traveled to Texas, Germany and Hawaii.  Things did not work out as planned for her and a divorce was the answer to unhappy marital bliss.

She was now a divorced mother of two small children.  Her dream became a glimmer as she resigned herself to find employment that had a good health plan.  Although she didn't regret being a mother, she regrets not achieving the success she always wanted.  She worked hard, raised her children and gave them all that they needed to become healthy and happy adults.

Now she is reaching the age of fifty, she realize that she can still achieve that dream.  Armed with faith in God she is going to make it happen, nothing and no one is going to stand in her way.

That young girl is me, although I have had many bumps and bruises, I got up, wiped away the dirt and kept it moving.  This website is not only my stress reducer, it is also going to be my source of income.  I believe in me, I believe I'm going to make it.

MY PARENTS

Your children need your presence more than your presents.

Jesse Jackson

To know me is to know my parents, they have shaped me into the woman I am today.  I didn't have an idealic childhood, but it was best suited for me.

My Mom is an excellent care giver, has always given of herself unselfishly.  She loves without condition accepting people for who they are, never judging.  We love and adore her so much we gave her Surprise 70th Birthday party recently.  We spared no expense, she was worth each and every dime.  Mommie's page is still under construction, there is so much to say about her that it will take time to do it right.

My Dad is an no nonsense man.  He is brutally honest, don't ask him anything if you are not ready to hear his answer.  He did the best he could being a father after my parents divorced.  He is a great Dad now, back in the day he had other priorties.

Check out the web pages I dedicated to them.  Feel free to make any comments.

ALL SAINTS DAY

In his holy flirtation with the world, God occasionally drops a handkerchief. These handkerchiefs are called saints.

Frederick Buechner, American Author

Today is All Saints' Day, a day which we honor the martyrs who perform selfless acts and were unknown.  Although we have many famous Saints, (Ghandi, Dr. King and Mother Theresa to name a few) we all had saints who have been very influencial in our everyday lives.

I like to reflect on the people who have influence me in a positive way.  My Grandmother, Mimi represented strength, she showed me through her life that there is nothing that you can not achieve with faith, detemination and motivation.  My Mom, has showed me forgiveness and patience, my Dad has taught me growth, understanding and everyone makes mistakes.

Take the time to recognize the Saints in your life and how they have sacrifice, taught and cared for you, even when you felt you didn't deserve it.  Reach out to others in need and show them Saint in you.

MUCH LOVE AND MANY BLESSINGS
